A Hong Kong Regulatory Forum was formed in January 2008. This Forum has regular meetings in Hong Kong which are open to all companies or individuals with the following terms of reference:
- Provide AHWP (Asian Harmonization Working Party) updates by AHWP industry (non-government) and government representatives
- Maintain a regular gathering of regulatory and non-regulatory professionals in the medical device fields
- Create a platform for different trade associations, industries and Department of Health (DOH) to discuss and provide updates on new medical device regulatory developments in the HK
The Forum has about 50 participants including Regulatory, Commercial, Engineers and Pharmacists from local industries, multinational industries, distributors, legal firms, publishers, insurance agents, Hong Kong Productivity Council, Hospital Authority, Conformity Assessment Bodies and government officials.
The Forum newsletter will help keep you up-to-date on news and upcoming events in the Hong Kong Medical Device Industry and it is distributed to about 5000 recipients.
