Course Description

BSI is now certified to conduct the IAQG-Sanctioned Aerospace Auditor Transition Training (AATT).  The training four-day course is led by two trainers and covers the following topics:

  • The first day of the training guides the student through Pre-audit and Stage 1 Audits, including how to effectively plan.
  • The second day continues with the planning process and moves on to cover auditing top management and process owners as well as auditing process trails.
  • The third day involves reporting and certification requirements as well as reviewing surveillance, recertification and special audits.
  • The course concludes with three examinations: online, application and an oral interview.

Final scores are tallied and provided by a third-party provider.

Prerequisite

  • Students will need to have completed Plexus’ eLearning class titled “Foundations: Understanding 9100” (estimated 8-20 hours) prior to the start of the AATT class or tested out of the class prior to beginning the AATT class. 
  • A working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 is recommended. Knowledge of quality management systems and SAE AS9100 Revision B would be beneficial.
Course Logistics

Final Examinations will be taken on your computer in the classroom. The Assessment Interview will consist of Trainers interviewing each participant, assessing their audit skills from the coursework. All participants must present either a Certificate of Completion of the Foundations Online Training Module OR a passing score of 90% on both Initial Examinations prior to attending this training.
