BSI’s “RC 14001:2008® Internal Auditor Course” teaches the principles and practices of effective management systems and process audits, Responsible Care Management System® requirements in conjunction with the ISO 19011:2002, “Guidelines for Quality and/or Environmental Management Systems Auditing.”
An experienced instructor assist students with developing audit skills, understanding management system concepts, explaining different types of audits and their applications; and demonstrating techniques for planning, executing, reporting, and following-up of audits. Role-play exercises provide students with practical experience in conducting internal audits and improves participants’ knowledge of environmental and Responsible Care management systems auditing principles.
Students receive comprehensive course manuals with reference materials.
There is no formal prerequisite for this course, although it is recommended that students have a basic knowledge of environmental management systems and RC 14001.
