BSI’s “Overview of Animal Tissue Requirements” provides participants with a general consideration for the use of animal tissues in the manufacture of medical devices.  The references utilized for this webinar include the Medical Devices Directive, Animal Tissue Directive 2003/32/EEC, and EN 12442 (parts 1-3).

A webinar is an interactive multimedia presentation that allows participants to hear the instructor through a telephone conference call while following the visual presentation through a web-based interface. The web element offers the ability to ask questions via a messaging tool and allows instant polls on topics discussed in the webinar. Access information is provided at registration.  An internet connection with at least Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or Netscape 5 and the ability to make a phone call while on the internet are required.
