Transactional Green Belt participants receive an introduction to the tools and methods that are necessary to successfully participate in Problem Solving and DMAIC improvement projects in a transactional environment. These tools will be introduced by a mix of up-front teaching, and group exercises to ensure rapid learning and knowledge retention. Training material is supplied in hard copy format for delegate use.

Who Should Attend
Students who have completed week one of the Green Belt program continue their projects and learning during this second week of class.

Prerequisite
Week one of the Green Belt program.
Six Sigma Green Belts are expected to be able to carry out small process improvement activities and to participate in larger projects which are led by Black Belts. Candidates should have good communication skills, and some experience of team working to improve processes or solve problems. They should ideally have some experience of using graphical displays of data in software, such as Excel. All candidates are required to bring a laptop computer to the course, equipped with Microsoft Windows 2000 or later with all service releases, and Microsoft Office 2000 or later with all service releases.
