BSI’s “Management Systems Auditing” competency-based 1-day course teaches the principles and practices of effective audits in accordance with ISO 19011:2002, “Guidelines for Quality and/or Environmental Management Systems Auditing.” Experienced instructors guide students through internal audits that are required for a quality management system based on ISO 9001:2008. Students gain necessary auditing skills through a balance of formal classroom tutorials, practical role-playing, group exercise, and open forum discussions
This course is certified by RABQSA to meet the knowledge requirements of Quality Management System certification of QMS Auditors. Attendees successfully completing this course receive a Certificate of Attainment for the RABQSA knowledge competency unit “AU – Management Systems Auditing”.

Prerequisite
Attendance of one standard-specific “Requirements” module (QM) is required prior to taking this course.
Course Logistics
There is a written test upon completion of the course. Detailed exam instructions will be provided. Certificates of Attainment will be provided for students who are deemed “Competent” for this competency unit. Certificates of attendance are provided to those who do not pass the competency test, and students will be given the opportunity to retake the test.
