Root Cause Analysis: Two day course

BSI’s “Root Cause Analysis”course is designed specifically for organizations working within the manufacturing sector. The 2-day course is designed to provide a working understanding of the application of the 8D Problem Solving methodology in a manufacturing environment. Students will practice problem solving methodologies in scenarios crafted around an extensive case study. The mixture of tutorial and practical exercises is designed to allow attendees to return to their organizations and play a creative and effective part in a problem solving team or environment.

  • Understand the Use of a Structured Model for Systematically Addressing Problems
  • Understand the Application and Interaction of the Various Tools and Techniques
  • Practice the Use of Key Problem Solving Tools, including the 8D Problem Solving Approach
  • Practice a Documentation Model to Manage the Problem Solving Process and Prevent Recurrence

Students receive comprehensive course manuals with reference materials.
